best come prepared son |
Life as a blogger can sometimes get to you, all the effort shovelled in to bring you good product, and i still live in my parents basement. Toiling away, giving people insight into good shit i hardly experience. Then there are those days when i appreciate the percs of doing this gig. Take this weekend , as an example, the team was just looking to take it easy, keep it civilised, see how the other half do things. The best layed plans got to waste, if you hang round the sort of people this blog rolls with. An after work drink turns into whirlwind bar crawl in the Greenside/Parkhurst area. A quick game of rugby, shifts gears, and sees the night and your wardrobe transform, to better suite the Peroni, event in Bryanston. All i wanted to do was get my laundry done, watch a game of rugby and lay into a good book. I can honestly tell you, from that short list the only thing i got to do was check out the rugby, the rest layed to waste, but lookin back at it all on this sunday night, I wouldn't have it any other way. tons of pics, and even less words after the jump.
Friday night, places we touched, Jolly Roger, Gin, Tokyo Sky, The Office. Literally one drink lead to another, multiply that by infinity, a two man table grew 8 deep, and Joburg, shrunk in the palm of our capable hands.
