Whiskey bottle sold for R 1,085,000

Nothing beats sipping on a fine whiskey whilst taking the time out to enjoy the finer things in life but this is just a bit too much for me to handle.

Find out more about Dalmore 64 Trinitas’ R1mill-plus whiskey bottles after the jump:

The two bottles of 64-year-old whiskey went to American collector Mahesh Patel and another buyer in the U.K. Mahesh was pleased with his purchase:
“Whisky is my passion. I love it. I have over 1,000 bottles in my collection, and the Dalmore Trinitas is now the jewel in the crown.”
Hell yeah it’s the crown jewel. The distillery estimates that if they whiskey were sold by the glass, it would cost about R217 000 a glass. Happy drinking Mahesh.
