So you think you can dance?

We had said that we were going to check out the So You Think You Can Dance, shindig which took place last week. It took us a minute to post about it but the wait is over.

Lastweek we headed to a club called The Oxford,  situated at the Thrupps shopping centre in Illovo, Johannesburg, since we had never been to The Oxford, it took us a while to get there but it wasn’t a hassle.

We arrived at The Oxford and were greeted with an Obama (Open Bar) and proceeded to imbibe in some Stolichnaya with cranberry juice, clearly not our usual drink of choice but when in Rome. The first thing that took us by surprise was of course the young lady serving us from behind the bar, she seemed nice enough to...

The one on the right is narce, not so much on the left(orange)

As the drinking continued we started to notice there was a lot of man love in the building, not that we have anything against the homo’s but as a straight guy we tend to notice such things, they weren’t the only thing that caught our attention, we noticed a fine array of girls, from fit to fat, to skinny to tall, trashy to classy they were all there and there’s nothing better than variety in our books.

Top 14 contestants

After a couple of minutes (more like an hour) the serious stuff began, we were welcomed by show host Sade Giliberti who looked fetching, even for a rug muncher (cause you know they aint giving the homies no play time), followed by speeches from the Judges and a video insert where we got to see how the Top 16 ended up in being finalists. I won’t lie the girls looked horrendous on the video insert but in real life they looked banging and we can attribute that to the power/deception of make up. After seeing the video I started to think to myself that maybe watching So you think you can dance, might not be such a bad idea cause the contestants sure know how to break it down.

Not much happened after the formalities, but more Stolichnaya and cranberry juice flowed. We of course did the honourable thing and that is to drink until the free booze found itself wanting. I’m not going to lie but them TV girls always look good and leave a nigga salivating.

Does this mean I'm an avid follower of the TV program? No!I happend to try and catch a glimpse of it on Saturday (18:30 - 19:30) and I found my self changing the channel and even more pissed off, cause I think I just realised that So You Thin You Can Dance, took my favourite TV programs time slot. Maybe I should picket outside the local broadcasters headquarters that they move So You Think You can dance to Wednesday evening and leave Selimathunzi put, but what do i know.
