YSL’s ‘simulating drug use’ ad banned
The beautiful French actress, promoting the luxury fragrance Belle D'Opium, drew a finger down the inside her arm as if injecting herself. She was then seen writhing, apparently out of control, before suddenly dropping to the floor. Finally, a voice-over stated: “I am your addiction, I am Belle D’Opium. The new fragrance by Yves St Laurent.” The carefully choreographed imagery, together with the name of the perfume, were, unmistakably, making references to injecting heroin, according to Daily Mail.
Only people who are craving Herion would associate this innocent advertisment with Heroin, I personally didn't see anything wrong with this ad, it just looks like this chick is high off shrooms more than anything else cause she's prancing around the room as if she drank a crap load of wine and she's feeling herself too much I guess. People need to lighten up and take it easy, Heroin...really?
