I've got my local haunt, and although the the atmosphere is immeasurably awesome, I will concede that the people behind the bar(Lord bless their souls) could use a little sprucing up. It seems that the Italians don't appreciate a little skin. Haters gon' Hate.

Daily Mail – After eight years running a bar, Laura Maggi suddenly found men beating a path to her door. Not for the quality of her coffee and aperitifs, but because she had started appearing for work in highly revealing outfits. Hundreds of male customers flocked there day and night, leaving their cars double parked in the surrounding streets. Congestion became such a problem that the lady mayor announced she was considering an emergency bylaw to limit traffic in the area. Now women in the small northern Italian town of Bagnolo Mella have declared Le Cafe out of bounds to their menfolk – and 34-year-old Miss Maggi has become a national celebrity. Yesterday she was a guest on the Italian equivalent of This Morning and said: ‘I don’t see what the problem is – it’s just a bit of harmless fun. ‘If the guys come here what can I do? ‘I know I have upset the women but that’s not my problem. ‘It’s not my fault if guys want to come and have a drink in my bar.’ Bagnolo’s mayor Cristina Almici said: ‘We have received several complaints from women about the bar and we are looking at what we can do with regard to public order. ‘There has been a huge influx of traffic into the town since the news of Laura started to spread and this has led to incidents of bad parking and some minor acts of vandalism.

Be inspired: the Life of Heavy D documentary

Premiering this past Sunday on Centric TV, Be Inspired: The Life of Heavy D finds a bevy of influential people from the hip-hop community remembering the truly legendary emcee. Mixing interviews from the likes of Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Will Smith and MC Lyte with performance footage, including his last live show at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, the viewer gets a reminder of just how big a part of the culture Heavy D was. The documentary also features stories from his family and other golden-era artists such as Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane and Kurtis Blow. Heavy D tragically passed away from a pulmonary embolism caused by deep leg vein thrombosis on November 8, 2011. Watch the entire moving documentary above.

BMW M135i Turbo Concept

There'll be no objective writing from me when it comes to BMW, it's gonna be biased all the way.Decked out in classic BMW  M Livery, this hatch adds some balls to the 1 series hatch.

Titled the M135i, BMW created a concept that entwines a twin-turbo and pure gasoline-powered inline six cylinder engine to a newly developed 3-door hatchback body style. Designers claim the shape provides “a more dynamic and elongated appearance” complemented by a custom M-designed suspension stance, wide flared wheel arches, 18-inch Motorsport division exclusive wheels, and aggressive front air intake design. No word on a release date or availability as of yet.

DMX Breakfast Club Interview [Video]

DMX, has never been one to bite his tongue, it's a trait that, can be appreciated in todays world of ambivelence, sub tweets and subliminal shot taking. He steps in with the Breakfast club, for a rather lenghty pow - wow. I could just put up excerpts from the interview, but I feel it's done a lot more justice when viewed in full, also covering my ass, so as not to put anything out of context.

He touches on issues with Def Jam/Jay Z, the same issues we've heard from a countless other Def Jam dropouts. His thoughts on a few of todays most poular artists, namely Rick Ross, Drake and J.Cole. He says it so straight that it make Commons "sweet," look like a veiled diss. I would be remiss not to comment on X's twitchy demeanour. I'll be listening to the music to see if he can get back to those old heights.This rap shit is tough to crack without some friends in your corner, especially when you trying to make a comeback.

Odd Futre gets a show on Adult Swim (Trailer)

A lot of you don't even like the Odd futurist movement. Many of you praying for their demise or for them to slip into obscurity. Guess, they got a little more stamina than most of you expected, leveraging off the internet buzz to extend their 15 minutes a little longer.

 Odd Future’s Adult Swim TV show, Loiter Squad, finds the crew in a green room being completely consumed by cheeses of all sorts. With seemingly full creative control, one can only dream what OFWGKTA has thought up for their “lightly” scripted series.  To quote one of my favourite scenes in  Gladiator, The mob is fickle, brother. He'll be forgotten in a month. This looks like a black version of Jackass..

You get to the level of success and the age where everything oyu xchased just doen't seem as illustrious as it used to. Or, you've done this enouigh times to know that the show will go on without you. Woody Allen, I don't know what the case was for you, but I always like my octogenerians, a little on the eccentric side a la Denny Crane.

Letty Aronson, producer of Midnight in Paris and Woody Allen‘s sister, said she hadn’t talked to the filmmaker but was “pretty sure” he knew he won for best original screenplay.
“He was saying that the NBA All-Star Game was on at the same time [as the Oscars] so he might have to turn the channel,” Aronson said. “But I bet [wife] Soon Yi told him he won.” [THR]

Teacher accidentally posts dick picture on facebook wall

NY Daily News – A decorated high school football coach in Maine was forced to resign on Monday after he mistakenly posted a nude photo of himself on Facebook and a local parent spotted it, according to a local report. Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School coach Paul Withee said he didn’t realize the racy shot, which was meant as a private message to one person, was posted publicly until a half hour after he put it up last week, Maine’s Sun Journal newspaper reported. He immediately pulled the photo down — but not before an Oxford Hills parent spotted it. The unidentified parent complained to school officials on Feb. 7. “I’m embarrassed, I’m ashamed, I’m humiliated,” Withee, 51, told the Sun Journal. “I’ve never done anything like this before and I never will again,” he said. School officials said that Withee was not friends with any Oxford Hills students on Facebook, and they are pretty sure the parent was the only one who saw the photo. Withee was named the varsity football coach at Oxford Hills in March after spending 19 years at Foxcroft Academy, a private school where he won three state championships and seven class championships. He also taught math and science at Oxford Hills Middle School. School Superintendent Rick Colpitts called the nude photo leak a mistake. “There was never any malicious intent. The photo was never intended for the public,” Colpitts told the Sun Journal. “He tried to correct it. I feel badly for him. I wish him well.” Withee is not expected to face criminal charges.

Open letter explaining why Rolling Papers wasn't his best work from Wiz Khalifa

A day after appearing at the Grammy's Wiz khalifa, let loose with a long diatribe in the form of an open letter to his fans. I'm going to hazzard a gues here and say that the Grammy's were an eye opener for him and he just ahd to vent. The Taylor Gang general thanked his fans for their continued support, breaking down his journey up to this point. In the blog post he also spoke out on recent criticism regarding his fashion choices lately stating “I always try to inspire my fans to be different.” He also Expressed excitement for the upcoming Taylor Allderdice mixtape and his own sophomore album, O.N.I.F.C., Wiz took time to reflect back on last year’s Rolling Papers admitting it wasn’t creatively his best work.

I truely believe Adele is going down as one of the best musicians this generation has ever seen. With her album 21 having sold in excess of 18 million copies worldwide, and having occupied the top spot on the Billboard music chart for the longets period since any album released since 1993.  It's pretty obvious that we're witnessing something  special here.

In this interview she touhes on the affects of fame, her surgery, her musical process, and a bit on her personal life. In an industry that's all about image it's pretty refreshing to see an artist who has no gimmicks and just gives her all, and makes it seem so effortless. Later that month he scored against Marseille in the Champions League. Next day Libyan tyrant Colonel Gaddafi was shot. One fan wrote on a forum: “I’m worried things will get out of control when he scores more.”

Riff Raff x Action Bronson - Bird on a Wire [Video]

Two, guys who are polar opposites on one track. No clue how this collaboration canme about, the only thing they have in commoon is their skin colour, and that was never a basis to collab. We've been seeing a lot of these unexpected collaborations Tyler and Game, Tyler and Pusha, and so far they seem to create track that are worthy of listening to. Action comes wiht that hard hitting NY flow, concise and focused, whlile Rif Raff , who is Soldier Boy's Lieutenant, who is mostly known for spitting  a whloe lot of  ignorance, laces his boots up and goes at it too. Over this atmospheric Harry Fraud beat, I can't fault the end result.

2013 BMW M6 Coupe

This week BMW announced the next generation of their flagship road-going sports car, the M6. Known to true fans as the “sportier M5,” the M6 keeps the engine, transmission, and electronic gadgetry specifications of its four-door brother but houses everything in a stylish and function two-door configuration, which keeps in tradition to the original M 635 CSi from the mid-1970′s. The 2013 model will arrive first as a convertible followed by the coupe, both with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 powerhouse that outputs 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque to the pavement through their massive 19-inch alloy wheels and electronic “Active-M” limited-slip differentials. Transmission specs as of now list a seven-speed dual-clutch sequential manual gearbox, with a fully manual configuration in consideration for a later release. Sales of the new model will begin sometime this June. It's looking like the old M6 went to the spa and trimmed a lot of excess weight off.

The Bourne Legacy Trailer [Video]

Matt Damon may not be reprising his titular role as Jason Bourne, but his legacy as the U.S. government operative gone rogue lives on in The Bourne Legacy. Neither a reboot, nor a prequel, The Bourne Legacy explores the original canon story of a new hero played by Jeremy Renner (of Hurt Locker fame), as penned and directed by franchise mastermind Tony Gilroy. Apparently the Treadstone Project that Damon spent three wildly successful movies unmasking, was only the “tip of the iceberg,” leaving room for a fresh interpretation of the storyline by Renner’s character. Also new to the franchise are Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton, while ‘Bourne’ veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, and David Strathairn will be reprising their respective roles.

Sonny Bill Williams K.O's Tillman in round 1

Sonny Bill Williams' boxing career took off as he scored a first round knockout over American Clarence Tillman in Hamilton tonight.

The win left Williams undefeated from five fights and earned him the New Zealand Professional Boxing Association championship belt.

It also dismissed any doubts about the apparent lack of punching power of the All Black.

After the two boxers sounded each other out early, Williams connected with a good left hook and then finished Tillman off with a flurry of blows that had his opponent with his head hanging out of the ring.

Referee Lance Revill stepped in to stop the fight with one second left in the first round.


Tillman left the ring immediately after the fight, not bothering to stay around to see Williams presented with his belt.

There were also ugly scenes when Williams' original opponent Richard Tutaki entered the ring to taunt Williams.

Tutaki was removed with All Black and Chiefs team mate Liam Messam acting as Williams' minder.

The 26-year-old Williams was giving away 6cm in height, a massive 21kg in weight and tons of experience to the 34-year-old American who had 21 professional fights going into this bout, including 11 wins with six by knockout.

I don't know if this bodes well for the rest of the worlds centres, who want to tackle a guy who can back all his talk like this?

Two Pro Golfer break out in rap mid game [Video]

In June, pro golfers Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, and Hunter Mahan made a rap video for the song, "Oh Oh Oh," and Farmers Insurance agreed to donate $1,000 for every 100,000 views of the silly hip hop video. Remarkably, that video now has nearly three million views. Well one half of the faux rap group, "Golf Boys," were playing at last weekend's Waste Management Open when at the 16th hole an impromptu rap duet broke out. Ben Crane (as seen with the helmet) and Bubba Watson performed "Oh Oh Oh," live during the event.

The raps a re nothing to linger over, but I can appreciate them, making the sport a little less uptight.

Punch Up at Sonny Bill Williams vs. Clarence Tillman weigh- in [Video]

The biggest thing to hit the rugby scene since Jonah Lomu. I'm not saying there haven't been good players since Jonah bowed out, but I much rather a players impact inm how the junior levels mirror the top athletes. Jonah came round, next thing every kid was on creatine hoping emulate Jonah as he bulldoxed his way through opponenets. SBW made his debut and the next weekend, much to their coaches chagrin, every kid was trying to pass the ball through tackles, often resulting in a knock on.

SBW also posesses the mass to compliment his skill set, and that size is also put to good use in the boxing ring. He has a title fight coming up in New Zealand, which I'm sure most of the rugby world will watch closely. This is a dust up that ensued at the event, it's more the sort of thing that would typically happen in a ruggby game, than al all out toe to toe exchange of blows. I'm lookig forward to this match.

Those that follow this rap industry, should by now know that a Rick Ross Birthday is something to behold, no holds barred and too rich for the rest of us mere mortals. Unfortunately Rick Ross, your birthday happen to coincide with a night where Ioverdid it on the drinks, and couldn't wake up to post on the blog. That's just my way of saying sorry for the lateness.

Anyway, it's a Ross party, you know what to expect. Hilights are  Styles P, Jadakiss, Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose, French Montana, Diddy, Sway, Cassie, DJ Khaled and more, and that's just some of the guestlist, Dr.Dre made the cut as well and gifted Officer Ricky (sorry, that comes up when I have a serious case of the hates) with a $100 000 diamond encrusted Hublot watch. Guess life is good when you're Rich Forever.

Basic House: Pocket Sized Portable House

Goodfellas is too damn expensive if you ask me, expensive to the point where, I'd rather risk a little ding tonight, than pay those guys. "I know, a lot of you will tell me you can't put a price on human life, but I just did." This is an invettive way of curbing drunk driving, and other problems.  I have a friend who carries a toothbrush in his jeans when we go out, just in case he wakes up at someones house, it's logic I don't quite understand, cause morning breath is natures way of ending a one night stand, don't attach strings to it by being all minty fresh and shit. I've justy been sidetracked. here's the deal. Imagine you had one of these houses in your pocket at the club, you and intended victim both get a little too sauced up, and none of you want to take it back to your place, whip this house and presto, accomodation for the night sorted, just make sure you got a condom in the other pocket. How awesome would it be to see the streets of Greenside, Parkhurst, Rosebank and Sandton, lined with the rocking motion of this gold space foil houses?!

Kanye West to make new short film in Middle East

According to The New York Observer, Kanye West has set his sights on a similar short film as his 2010 offering “Runaway,” with filming set to take place in the Middle East and involving local municipal officials and film companies. Sources tell The Observer that Mr. West sent members of his team to meet with film companies and government officials based out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha, Qatar to explore the idea of a production. While details are muddy at best right now, surely more concrete ideas and locales will emerge in the very near future.
