Missoni x Converse Chuck Taylor 2012
The iconic Chuck Taylor enjoys another fresh zigzag redesign courtesy of Italian fashion house Missoni for Spring/Summer 2012. This new release finds the timeless Chuck wrapped in Missoni’s celebrated raschel knit and multi-stitch space-dyed cotton. Leather uppers and subtly branded, embossed toe-wraps round out the ultra-premium, First String package. Understandably, this collaboration will be available in extremely limited quantities, starting on April 14 at Missoni boutiques and selected Converse First String stockists.

ESPN Michael Jordan "It's not crazy it's sports" [Video]
I don't usually like posting American sports stuff on here, I have my reasons, but this commercial is so good I couldn't help but post it. I also figured that a lot of you know who the hell Michael Jordan is.
Ever wondered what it would be like to share the same name with the greatest basketball player of all-time? In the latest ESPN spot titled “It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports,” we meet a middle-aged white man who just so happens to share the same first and last name with none other than Michael Jordan. We watch as various people from all walks of life are disappointed when in fact, this MJ and that MJ have little in common

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg set at Coachella [Video]
A great way to break the silence. This set had touch of Magic to it, not only were the backdrops, the features and the backing band on point, but there was also a performance from an eery Tupac hologram. That had most of Pac's mannerisms down pat, and had Snoop interacting with it. Is this the future? I can't say I wasn't there, the technology is impressive without a doubt, and opens up a whole lot of avenues for artists seeking to take their performances to another level. Imagine never having to go on tour, just shipping a hologram dvd to whaever remote corner of the world you were meant to perfom in.

G.O.O.D Music - Mercy [Artwork]
So tomorrow the first single will drop from the highly anticipated G.O.O.D Music album, and to whet your appetites the artwork for "Mercy," has been released. Simplistic and distinct, like the artwork for the G.O.O.D Friday tracks leading up to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I'm not too sure what strategy G.O.O.D will employ in getting the buzz leading up to the release date, but based on the evidence alone I'd be inclined to think that G.O.OD Fridays are back.

Kanye West ft. Dj. Khaled - Theraflu [Audio]
With the G.O.O.D Music album, looking like it's nearing it's release date, Kanye takes some time to not only drum up some attention, but also deal with a few issues that seem to have plagued the media, when it concerns him. The Wiz Khalifa/ Amber Rose, Kim Kardashian, and displays the kind of braggadocio that seems to have characterised the "Watch the Throne" album. Name checking various power players in the industry. It certainly has me amped for the first G.O.O.D single "Mercy, " which is set to drop tomorrow.
[Side Note]: It really pisses me off that international D.J's give props to Cape Town, while omitting Johannesburg.

Stalley ft. Rick Ross - Party Heart [Video]
After releasing, his mixtape "Savage journey to the American Dream" on the 30th of March, the other bearded member of the MMG Empire released visuals for his single "Party Heart." The video features emcee and fellow MMG member Rick Ross curbside, and displays cameos from a host of familiar faces including Miami Heat stars Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. In terms of sound the track is characteristically mellow and low-key, in line with the relaxed flows of Stalley and Ross.
mixtape is available HERE for download
